Reading is educational, relaxing, exciting, and sometimes downright terrifying. It all comes down to the types of books or stories that any reader chooses. Books are the primary teaching tool for any type or level of education. They can also give you a means of escape from reality and provide a venue for experiences that you will never encounter in the real world. The latter are the books that I have enjoyed since I first learned to read.
I belong to the select group of people who love nothing more than being surprised or terrified by the unexpected in a book or movie. Those “gotcha” moments that bring you to the edge of your seat make sitting in the theater for two hours more than worthwhile.
